Pyxide romain avec son couvercle en verre irisé
Elégante pyxide en verre transparent.
Le corps bombé avec un petit bord évasé, fond légèrement concave. Le couvercle en forme de cône surmonté par un bouton, la base repliée vers le bas pour former un petit bourrelet. Le couvercle est orné de vagues en relief formant des ondulations verticales.
Epoque romaine,  méditerranée orientale, probablement Egypte - 1er/ 3ème siècle après J.-C. ,
Hauteur 9,7 cm avec le couvercle x diamètre 7,1 cm  - Parfait état
Le verre est transparent,  fortement irisé avec de magnifiques reflets multicolores.

GREEK BLACK-FIGURE LEKYTHOS
Attic black-figure lekythos. Pear-shaped body with flat shoulder, funnel-shaped neck, and arched handle.
Beautiful depiction of a musician scene.
Tongues decoration on the shoulder.
5th century BC. ca. 480-470 BC - Height 14.2 cm - Diameter 6.1 cm.
Very good condition - well-preserved decoration - no restoration.
Attributed to the Haimon group.
The Haimon Painter was one of the last Athenian ceramists to use the black-figure technique. By this time, it had already been supplanted by red-figure. He was a contemporary of the Sappho and Diosphos Painters.
