The stool is of chair seat height and is made in oak throughout. The rectangular seat is made from a single thick plank and has rounded corners and edges above a broad chamfer on the underside. The seat is supported on hexagonal slightly tapered legs which are set at a splayed angle, through jointed to the seat surface and secured with wedges.
Condition, is good, original finish and patination, no repairs, no worm, all joints are tight. The thick varnish finish is crackled with age, particularly on the legs.
A very servicable antique stool in native timbers.
