Marketed since 1972, the Alfetta was Alfa Romeo's reference sedan throughout the 1970s. Later the car shared its mechanical characteristics with several other Alfa Romeo models, such as the Giulietta, the 75, the GTV and the 90. The Alfetta debuted with a 1.8 engine, to which was added the 1.6 from 1974. The car had a long career, which ended in 1985, after several different series, including the 2.0 of 1977, treated separately. The most luxurious of the Alfettas are probably the last Quadrifoglio Oro (1983-1985).
