Original 1929 municipal bond certificate issued by Ventnor City in Atlantic County, New Jersey. This large-format bond was issued for $1,000 as part of a municipal building initiative and features striking green engraving with bold type, ornamental border, and a scenic vignette showing the Ventnor City boardwalk and beachfront in the 1920s. The document is printed on high-quality paper by Security Bank Note Company and includes the original registration section, serial number (No. 260), and complete panel for coupon registration and legal certification.

The bond carries an interest rate of 5¼%, with interest payable semiannually on April 1st and October 1st, and principal due on April 1, 1956. It was payable at The Ventnor City National Bank and represents a classic example of Depression-era municipal financing for public infrastructure and civic buildings. This bond was signed by Isaac B. Iversen as Mayor and includes embossed seals and manuscript signatures from city officials. The reverse side shows the conversion certificate and register of ownership, filled out by hand and dated June 12, 1934.
