Remove Red Vent Bungs Immediately:
All flooded lead-acid batteries come with red vent bungs (plugs) for transport safety. These must be removed as soon as you receive the battery, even if storing. Failure to do so may result in the battery swelling or exploding.

DO NOT accept damaged deliveries. Please reject them and notify us immediately for a replacement.

1. Contract Formation

• These terms apply to all products sold by ZEFA Trading Company Ltd.
• No contract is formed until full cleared payment is received.
• By placing an order, you accept these terms and conditions.

2. Product Description & Pricing

• Product descriptions and prices are shown at the time of order.
• If an item is out of stock, we’ll notify you and offer a refund or waitlist.
• Pricing errors will be communicated — your order may be canceled or updated at your choice.

3. Payments

Orders are not dispatched until cleared payment is received in full.

4. Delivery Terms

• We aim to dispatch orders received before 2PM on the same working day.
• Delivery dates are not guaranteed and delays may occur.
• Inspect all items before signing. If damaged, refuse delivery and contact us within 1 working day.

5. Warranty

This is a Return-to-Base Warranty. It covers defects in manufacturing or materials only.

• Max coverage: 2 years or 200 cycles (whichever comes first).
• Warranty void if battery is discharged below 10.5V (100% discharged) or left under 12.1V (50%).
• No coverage for: sulphation, wear/tear, misuse, overcharging, incorrect application, or damage during return transit.
• Testing may apply before approval of any claim.

6. Safe Handling & Hazards

• Wear gloves, goggles, and protective gear when handling batteries.
• Use acid trays and proper transportation labels (UN2794 for flooded, UN2800 for AGM/GEL).
• Hazard Classification: Corrosive – Class 8
• Emergency Aid:
  • Inhalation: Move to fresh air, seek medical help.
  • Eye contact: Rinse with water for 15 mins, get urgent care.
  • Skin contact: Wash with water, remove clothing, get help.
  • Ingestion: Do not induce vomiting. Rinse and get medical aid immediately.

7. Legal Disclaimer

All products must be installed and handled by qualified individuals. ZEFA Trading Company Ltd accepts no responsibility for injury, damage, or loss from misuse or mishandling.

8. Applicable Law

These terms are governed by English Law. All disputes will be handled in English courts.

9. Transit Liability

All claims for damage in transit must be made to the courier directly. We will assist by providing booking references.
