The 1956 football 1-cent wrappers came in both a dark green and a lighter green variation. At one time, all the 1-cent wrappers were impossible to find until the early 1990’s when an unopened box was discovered which had all unopened packs in the dark green variation. As  a result, the dark green are much more plentiful than these light green variations. I do not know how many of these light green variations exist but I suspect it is precious few. I have only seen one sell on eBay over the last 3 years. There are a few subtle imperfections I want to note including: a ¾”tear near the receiver in the upper/right corner; a “7”-shaped tear near the right leg of the passer in the lower/left corner, and a couple minor nicks near the lower/right corner. Notwithstanding these imperfections, the wrapper looks super nice with very clean surfaces and bright, bold color.

grade sport &non-sport wrapper collection from a long-time hobby veteran who was a very active dealer and

collector during the infancy stages of our great hobby. He has been a great asset to our hobby and I am honored to
