Looking for a more accurate wrapped lumber load for your HO scale trains? Here's your product! Made of separately wrapped rows of lumber, this looks and feels like the real deal! Each row is approximately 4 scale feet tall and 64 feet long. Each row features 8 bunks of lumber, which will replicate bunks of 2x4s or 2x6s. Stickers are applied between each row, then the rows are stacked and wrapped.
Each lumber load is made from solid wood and wrapped in a high-quality paper veneer. Each load also features separately applied banding and magnetic attachment for each half. The magnet is adequate to prevent the loads from falling off the car, but not enough -to damage the cars. Why choose solid wood over plastic? Simply put, weight. Cars loaded with wood weigh 70-100 tons. A model car load should increase a car's weight more than an ounce. Solid wood provides this weight.
Note that this load was designed for, and verified to fit Walther's Mainline, Scale Trains, and Exact Rail 68' bulkhead cars. It will not fit Walther's mainline Pullman Standard bulkhead cars or Rapido 66' bulkhead cars.
