If the cause of turbo failure is not correctly diagnosed and rectified before fitting a replacement turbocharger, this new turbocharger will suffer damage and fail for the same reason.
The replacement turbocharger or cartridge must be fitted by a competent professional (qualified mechanic).
The following important parts must be changed before a new turbocharger is installed: turbocharger oil feed pipe.
Other parts may also need to be changed: engine breather valve, NEW oil pump, etc.
Any warranty claim will need to be supported by a valid invoice for the required parts replaced.
