Letter Signed by Washington Senator Daniel J. Evans, 1987

Typescript, signed, one-page letter on United States Senate letterhead.  Dated August 28, 1987.  Signed by the late U.S. Senator from Washington Daniel J. Evans.  The letter pertains to comments made by a constituent about the nomination of Judge Robert Bork to the U. S. Supreme Court.  Evans states that he needs to objectively review the judge's records before making a decision about the nomination.  Good condition, lightly browned at top and side edge.  The print is actually quite a bit darker than my scan shows.
