The publisher's proof of The Passenger is remarkably hard to find - it was probably tightly held by reviewer's and publishing insiders. Other copies I've seen have been well worn by avid readers but this copy is in excellent condition, just a small wrinkle on the paperback spine.  It's in the first state without the publication date sticker. Very collectible.

As a BONUS EXTRA - I will include the 4 page New York Times pre-publication excerpt from The Passenger. This was published in the NYT on Sunday, October 16, 2022 ahead of the actual publication date for the book. An extremely hard item to find and a must-have for a McCarthy collector.
