You   are    bidding    on     vintage    RARE  ESTATE FIND   sterling   silver  "TULIPS"  hinged  necklace and  bracelet  hand made  demi parure.  This  museum  quality  "WEARABLE ART"  demi  parure   is  hand    crafted  in  TAXCO, MEXICO  , famous  center  of sterling silver jewelry making. This  demi parure  was created circa 1970s  from sterling silver   with  tips  carved in  the shape  of  a TULIP. The  necklace is  decorated with  15 mm x 10 mm x 5 mm polished  black onyx  cabochons. The bracelet is   decorated with   8 mm x 5 mm x 3 mm  ONYX cabochons. All  stones  are set  in raised bezels. This  gorgeous  demi parure is  in good vintage condition .The necklace will  fit  the neck  up   15'' in circumference, the bracelet  is   7" in circumference. Hinges work well. Both necklace and bracelet are hallmarked "925" indicating sterling silver purity content,Also they are marked MEXICO and with artist mark .The necklace weighs  massive 119 grams  of sterling silver.The bracelet weighs 59 grams of sterling silver.
