REUGE MUSICAL POCKET WATCHA very nice example of the famous Reuge "Hunstman Scene" gold-plated pocket watch.The "alarm" function can be set to any time, which will activate the music box and automaton scene on the front, showing a woman pumping water from a well, the water flowing, the hunter's arm moving and his horse's head raising and lowering to the trough. The music and automaton can also be activated manually at any time by pressing a button at the rear of the watch.In excellent condition, with original key and Reuge carrying case.

Reuge of sainte-croix open face automaton pocket watch, with musical alarm, the dial with enameled scene and silver gilt horse and rider drinking from a fountain pumped by a maiden, subsidiary white enamel dial with Arabic numeral hour markers and centre seconds, fitted with a musical movement. Inner dust cover and hinged case back.

Watch movement runs a little fast.
