This version features a smaller 30mm clear center window surrounded by radial etched lines. The center keeps the primary subject defined, while the larger surrounding effect area twists and stretches more of the image into a circular, dreamlike pattern. Practical lights and highlights can become elongated swirls, arcs, and radial streaks.

Compared with the 50mm version, the 30mm center window produces a stronger, more immersive effect that draws greater attention toward the center of the frame. It is also suitable for creating more restrained edge distortion when used with lenses having smaller front elements.

This is a creative special-effects filter rather than a conventional close-up diopter. The result will vary according to the camera’s sensor size, lens diameter, focal length, aperture, focus distance, lighting, and composition.
