I ran across a 4 x 6 solid oak plank that had been stored at a local retailer lumber company for many years. They could not sell the item due to the bee holes thru out the wood. I went ahead and purchased it because of the tunnels and cut it into thinner pieces so the holes stand out. It now reflects the bee progress over many years. The piece has a shelf of  2 1/4 inches. The piece stands 17 1/2 across and   14 1/2   high.
