The clock is currently not running, but the chime works well. When I crank the mechanism it winds, but it will not increase in tension.

The dial and case are in good condition, and it comes with the pendulum, but there is no key. Also, the movement is marked France, but there is no maker that I could see.  I've provided nearly (4) dozen enlarged photos below to give you a more thorough view.
