Rare Park Industries lighter commemorating the arrival of the Northrup T-38 Talon at Webb Air Force Base in Big Spring, Texas on November 4, 1961. Webb AFB was closed in January 1978. The T-38 Talon was introduced to USAF service on March 17, 1961. This iconic aircraft has an incredible history and has been in service for 60 years as of 2025. NASA uses the T-38 Talon supersonic jet trainer for astronaut training. This a great find for collectors!
