Vintage Tribal Tiki Figurine

Covered Trinket Box

This handcarved, wooden figurine measures about 9" tall.  It portrays a "Tiki" man leaning over a covered container that's 4" high.  The man in hinged at the base, allowing you to lift him to reveal the trinket box.  The figurine features hair made from jute that's held onto the head with small, metal nails.

I'm not sure where this was made.  It resembles a Tiki, so it may originate from one of the Pacific islands.
