This is an original copyright 1912 photograph of Blackfeet Indian tribe Chief Thunder Cloud. The photo alone is 5 3/4" x 8 1/8". It is taped to a modern mount with arrow design cutout, as found. The photo is identified in the image along the bottom. It is a silver gelatin type photograph which is visible when tilted in light. Photographer is unknown.

   Chief Thunder Cloud(1856-1916) was part of the Buffalo Bill Wild West Show and also modeled for famous artists including Frederic Remington.

   The photograph is in very good overall condition with some shading, as shown.   As previously mentioned the mount that it is taped into is modern, not antique like the photo.
