This Nautical Mauritania Ships Flag - 73" x 46" was removed from a vessel being cut up for scrap. This flag is exactly like it was when it was found, it has not been washed.
The flag has a crescent and a gold star on a green ground was used from April 1, 1959 - August 15, 2017. In 2017, a red band at the top and bottom were added.
This flag has seen better days! In one photo you will see a small hole and the flag is pretty dirty! So, if you are looking for an unique flag then this would be it.
