1949 Red Sox PSA Ticket Ted Williams Hit 84 Consecutive GM On Base Record 9/4

This vintage ticket stub from 1949 is a must-have for any serious baseball fan or collector. It is a part of baseball legend Ted Williams' incredible record of being on base for 84 consecutive games. Ted got two hits in this game as did the great Joe DiMaggio. Ted Williams streak to me is equal to Joe’s 56 game hitting streak but is greatly over looked. Ted’s on base streak ran from July 1 - September 27 , more than half of the season.

The ticket is in excellent condition and has been certified by PSA for added authenticity and value.

This ticket stub is a true piece of history, representing a time when baseball was at its peak and legends like Williams dominated the game. It is an original, not a reproduction, and is sure to be a prized possession for years to come. Don't miss your chance to own a piece of baseball history.

Ted Williams, one of the best and most loved athletes of all times.Ted won two triple crowns, six batting titles, two MVP awards.Mr Boston Red Sox. Known as the greatest hitters who ever lived. Last player to hit 406. Voted best player of the decade 1950's. First home run 1939, last in his last at bat at Fenway Park in 1960. Missed five prime years fighting in two wars, an American war hero and top pilot, flew with John Glenn, a leader of the Jimmy Fund to fight children's cancer, a world respected fisherman, manager of the year in 1969 with the Washington Senators. Brought fans to their feet and light up a room when he spoke. He knew the art of hitting like no other. Moody but a great autograph signer as I got him myself in the 1960's with Jim Thorpe. A big laugh and a tragic death. An American Icon. This man offers tons of items to be collected and displayed: cards, tickets, publications, odd ball and none better than a teddy ballgame autograph.
