A highly decorative copper line engraved map on paper, by Daniel de la Feuille, published in Amsterdam, c.1708. Measures 170 x 250 mm. The map is embellished with  city's coat of arms, plans and views. Please see photo for condition.

Daniel de La Feuille (1640 - 1709) was born of Huguenot stock in Sedan, France. In 1683, facing religious, the family fled to Amsterdam watchmakers. His cartographic work includes numerous individual maps and atlases. He was succeeded by his sons Jacob de la Feuille (1668 - 1719) and Paul de La Feuille (1688 - 1727).
