Gumnut Stars 100% silk stranded thread. 8 meters per skein. Hand-dyed. 1 skein. Colors as noted.  A favorite in Australia.  Note all this thread line is somewhat variegated, but I have noted the more variegated (and noticeable variation) by the term, "variegated". Otherwise appears almost solid.

Thread for crewel, needlepoint, tapestry, embroidery, and cross stitch.  Note that these are hand-dyed and color variation is possible.  Not all of one color are of the same dye lot.  

I bought a lot of thread for Needlepoint, Tapestry, and Cross Stitch from a store that has closed out.  This has been stored in plastic container away from sunlight in a smoke-free, cat-free home.  Has no smells associated with it.
