Beautiful handmade CRANK TOP SALT AND PEPPER MILLS made with beautiful Maple Burl. This set is 4” tall and are 2 ¼” wide at the base. Pacific Yew is a species of tree native to the Pacific Northwest of North America. It is a small evergreen conifer, thriving in moisture and otherwise tending to take the form of a shrub. The great contrast between the colors of the heart wood versus the sap wood make it ideal for use in small woodturning projects like this.

This item has been finished using a Boiled Linseed Oil (to bring out the colors and figure) and then finished with 6 coats of Lacquer. The Lacquer finish is very durable and will last for the life of your grinders. This set is not signed, dated or have a wood designation that I typically put on items because of the lack of space on the bottom of these type items.
