I recently acquired from a local estate a nice old collection of Indy & Stock Car Racing Literature including tickets, programs & books. These Indy 500 Year Books are just some of the items I received.
As you can see by my photos this is collection of 15 different Floyd Clymer's Official Indy 500 Year Books all measuring 8 1/2 x 11. This softbound collection is original and not reproduction. The 15 books cover the years from 1909-1957.
They are all in good original condition having no ripped, torn or missing pages and no moldy smell but do show some honest age and wear. However the rear cover on the 1953 issue is missing the back page.
The collection of 15 different books consits of:
1. AAA Official Record Book 1909-1951 having 143 pages
1. Indianapolis Race History 1909-1946 having 320 pages
1. Indy Speedway Driver History 1909-1948 having 18 pages
12. Indianapolis 500 Mile Race Yearbooks from 1946-1957 having approx 70-120 pages each
