Condition: A screw is missing for the darker stained small wood piece binding one of the legs together. (see image 7)


This DID have a label on it but was too damaged for me to properly identify an exact model number; only a partial “90”. I can assure you it IS an authentic David White brand item; see pic 4. I removed the label but kept it as proof.


When I first found this at an estate sale, the legs were heavily scratched up and the feet were caked with rust. For whatever reason, I became invested in fully refurbishing this piece of surveying equipment into more of a work of art! The piece was fully stripped, sanded and re-stained 2 different colors by myself. The feet were scrubbed of rust buildup with scouring pads. Because of this, I’ve decided my price is justified for all the labor that I put into it. Personally, I’d recommend converting this tripod into a MidCentury Modern floor lamp.
