Yamaha SM15V-CA Two-way 15” LF with 2” HF compression driver, Floor Monitor
The SM15V is a low profile, (horn beside woofer style) floor monitor cabinet, with steel corner protectors, steel grille to protect the woofer, and a heavy steel jackplate with both 2 Neutrik Speakonâ and 2 heavy-duty Switchcraft 1/4" input jacks. A 1 3/8" pole socket is installed on the end of the cabinet for easy pole mounting, great for front of house duty. It is covered in tough, abuse resistant black carpet. The woofer, or low frequency driver is a high power, custom design. The high frequency driver is a 2" diaphragm compression driver mated to a 40° x 90° horn. Both drivers in this cabinet are made by Eminence. The internal passive crossover has protection circuitry to help guard against damage that may occur from over powering the SM15V. With its large woofer, the SM15V is a great drum monitor choice. This loudspeaker is manufactured here in the USA.
