This  is lovely Italian heavy linen doily /placemat. I believe, was made around 1900 - 1920.   Punto Antico hand-embroidery,  needle lace on linen and a wide edge of hand-knotted filet Bosa lace with darned figural embroidered lions,  . Please enlarge my photos to see the handwork. Measurements are about 16"x12". Doily has been carefully hand-washed, starched and ironed. It is clean, spotless, ready to display or use.  Great old antique condition no issues ready to be use.
