1979-80 xr/xl 250/500 could possibly fit up to 1982 and maybe older then 1979 not sure second picture is on a 1979 xr250 for reference to its looks on bike not actual tank. its a malcolm Smith brand oversized desert tank part number 18159. No cracks/leaks ,threads good, missing petcock. Has mounts and cap scratches throughout sold as shown in pics worst scratches on right side, very rare peice. Around 5 gallons. Petcock stem inside loose, no smells. Tried to fit on 1983-87 Honda rfvc xl600 and will not fit due to tank tunnel being too skinny to make past the oil return hose the rfvc motors use.
