February 2025 (initial listing):

This listing of the five books of World War Hulk and the first issue (out of three) of World War Hulk: X-Men (six books total in this listing) come from my personal collection, which I developed through subscriptions at my local comic book store (Showcase Comics in Bryn Mawr, PA). I bagged & boarded all of the books shortly after I purchased & read them. I have not had any of these books professionally graded, they are all in great condition, and they've been in a long box since I bagged & boarded them.

My other listings can be found at https://www.ebay.com/usr/jmrgkm.

The following descriptions are from Overstreet.

World War Hulk (August 2007) #1: Marvel's massive summer smashfest begins! Exiled by a group of Marvel "heroes" to the savage alien planet of Sakaar, the Hulk raged, bled, and conquered through the pages of last year's "Planet Hulk" epic, rising from slave to gladiator to king. Now the Hulk returns to Earth to wreak his terrible vengeance on Iron Man, Reed Richards, Dr. Strange and Black Bolt -- and anyone else who gets in his way. Stronger than ever, accompanied by his monstrous Warbound gladiator allies, and possessed by the fiercest and purest rage imaginable, the Hulk may just tear this stupid planet in half. The epic story of anger unbound begins with this special double-sized issue written by "Planet Hulk" scribe Greg Pak and penciled by the legendary John Romita, Jr.

World War Hulk: X-Men (August 2007) #1 (of 3): "Hard Questions." When the Illuminati voted to shoot the Hulk into space, Professor X wasn't there, but the Hulk just found out he was supposed to be, so he shows up at the Xavier Institute to ask a few pointed questions, Hulk style. With the other teams away, only Beast and the New X-Men stand between the massive rage of the Hulk and the Professor, not to mention the younger students who'd be caught in the crossfire. Can the X-Men-in-training survive the wrath of the Jade Giant until the other X-teams get back? Or will the young mutants become casualties of the World War Hulk?

World War Hulk (September 2007) #2: The puny human "heroes" of Earth, including Reed Richards, Iron Man, Dr. Strange and Black Bolt, called the Hulk a monster and shot him into space. Now the Hulk has returned with a rage that knows no bounds—and he has a posse! Can the mightiest powerhouses of the Avengers stop the Hulk and his cadre of super-powered Warbound gladiators as they carve their path of mayhem through the concrete canyons of Manhattan? Can battling Ben Grimm and the rest of the Fantastic Four save Reed Richards from the Hulk's wrath? And what hope can She-Hulk have of calming her great green cousin's terrible rage?

World War Hulk (October 2007) #3: The insane smashfest that is "World War Hulk" continues! The Hulk has never been angrier or stronger or more certain of the vengeance he seeks against Mr. Fantastic, Iron Man, Dr. Strange, and Black Bolt, the four so-called "heroes" who exiled him into space. But can he survive a merciless assault by one of his oldest and most implacable opponents? What defense can he muster when Dr. Strange unleashes the full power of the Sorcerer Supreme? And who will survive when the Hulk's best friend on Earth clashes with the Hulk's first ally from Sakaar?

World War Hulk (November 2007) #4: "Let the Worlds within and the Worlds without Tremble in Their Orbits." Everyone GOES! TOO! FAR! in this penultimate chapter of the Mighty Marvel Monsterpiece which is World War Hulk. The Incredible Hulk and his Warbound companions? They go too far! Dr. Strange? He goes WAY too far! Iron Man and Mr. Fantastic? They learn the precise definition of "too far" as the Hulk delivers his final judgment from his stone throne in the Great Arena!

World War Hulk (January 2008) #5: "The Incredible Hulk/The Sentry." The millennium's most massive Marvel smashfest careens towards its cataclysmic conclusion! Four so-called Marvel "heroes" shot the Hulk into space. Their exploding shuttle destroyed his people and pregnant queen. And the Hulk has taught them what their arrogance has wrought. But now the Hulk faces the puny humans' greatest champion. And as the terrible battle rages, who will stand revealed as the hero – and who will be proved the monster? Who knows the difference between vengeance and justice? And who will pay the terrible price of anger?
