Dated August 10th, 1943. Made by Metro Sportswear. Has United Carr snaps. This is an unlined, non-reversible garment. Rare piece that was part of the M1943 layering combat uniform system - cut full enough to be worn over a liner, sweater, shirt or by itself as a shell.

Size tag is labeled Medium. Please note these were cut full to layer over other piece - compare measurements to a favorite jacket for best fit:

Chest (underarm to underarm): 29.5" across
Waist (across the front): 30.5"
Shoulder to Shoulder: 21"
Length (top of shoulder to bottom hem): 35"

Arm Length: 30.75"

Condition: This is in exceptional vintage condition, has some minor wash wear. Does not have a wooden drawstring bead at the neckline. No stains. Has small area of discoloration at the left sleeve cuff. Please see all photos for condition.
