Description of item for sale: This elegant statue of Sacred Heart Mary is from France. It exhibits vivid, original colors and at 60" tall, it's a life size representation of the Mother Mary. We date the piece to the mid-1700's. It shows some condition issues as expected of a nearly 300 year old wooden statue as follows. There is a moderate amount of old woodworm but nothing recent or active and it's structurally intact. There are minor touch-ups in the paint. There are several missing rays on the heart. There are several chips on the base. We note no significant dry rot. Overall we rate it in very good antique condition and ready for display. Dimensions: 60" tall.
