DESCRIPTION: Designed by Giancarlo Mattioli and by the Città Nuova Urban Planning Architects group, in the 1960s, Nesso is an international future and democratic design icon.
When it was designed it constituted an authentic wonder of thermoplastic molding in ABS, which was introduced for the first time in 1967, the year of lamp design, allowing to bring industrial materials and methods to domestic and office environments.
A touch of color and a design inspired by the nature, Nesso was born from the visionary identity of Artemis. Its iconic curves wind through a real collector's object, an expressive piece of great caliber and international fame.
Iconic work that has staged its presence in several points of reference, Nesso is considered a work of value of value. An icon of design, part of the permanent collections of the Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Museum of Modern Art.
