1880'S BLUE MT WASHINGTON CAMEO CUT 'DOVES' DECORATED KEROSENE OIL OR GAS 4" LIPPED FITTER SHADE

Outstanding 1880's Mt Washington of Bedford MA cameo cut 'Doves' decorated kerosene oil or gas shade. Lovely soft robin's egg blue cameo shade cut to snow white, outstanding decoration of doves in flight amid swirling leaves, flowers and classical urns. Rare Victorian art glass shade but matchable, also manufactured in pink and yellow. 4" lipped fitter, approximately 5 1/4" tall, approximate 8" across the top. The shade is undamaged with no chips cracks or breaks, very slight roughness at the fitter's edge. Crisp detail classic Victorian decoration. Wonderful rarely seen high quality Mt Washington cameo  shade; a lovely addition to any collection or any decor.
