The SeaYaLater Fish Release is a descending tool allowing anglers to reverse the effect of barotrauma* on fish by releasing them at depth.
With catch and release becoming ever more popular the ability to safely get your catch back into its natural environment as quickly as possible is becoming increasingly important to sporting angler.
Most fish are fine when returned but certain species do suffer when caught in deeper water. The SeaYaLater Fish Release helps to counter act this and allows fish like pollack, wrasse and ling to be returned if they are not wanted for the table.

*What is barotrauma?

• Barotrauma is a condition bottom-dwelling fish suffer from after surfacing rapidly and is common in grouper and snapper species when caught on hook and line. The air inside their swim bladder over-expands and impedes a fishes ability to swim back down to depth if its released back into the wild.

The SeaYaLater fish release hook is a great way to enable anglers to release fish more effectively. This is all thanks to the patent pending slide swivel technology which ensures that the fish will not fall off the release hook before it should. Anglers will now have the ability to successfully release fish using the hook method no matter the fishing conditions.

The SeaYaLater fish release hook will get your fish back down to the depth it came from. By having a spare rod rigged with the SeaYaLater Fish Release and suitable sinker you can just hook on the fish and lower it back down to the desired depth before realing it from the SeaYaLater Fish Release.
