We have matched the Competition chessmen with a contemporary-looking chessboard crafted by the world-famous Rechapados Ferrer based in Spain. At almost 18 inches, this high-gloss lacquered board is constructed using high-quality veneers of black anegre and maple. It is a deeply contrasting board reflecting all the chess pieces beautifully, and combining these two components makes for a very elegant and contemporary looking chess set.
