This listing is to buy a new 6m x 8m (20ft x 26ft approx) Commercial Marquee. Ideal for weddings, parties or BBQ's. Linings,flooring and lighting are all available as extras (see below for more details).

Our 6x8m Commercial DIY Marquees are ideal for hire companies or for those who want something more heavy duty than our Classic range. PVC is widely regarded as having at least twice the lifespan of PE material and is superior to poly/PVC, it can also be joined using high-frequency welding  (rather than stitching) to make a completely waterproof and reliable shelter.

An excellent 4-season marquee (can be used year round though additional precautions should be taken in snow and extreme conditions) ideal for sustained use in the domestic market or marquee hire industry. We recommend the use of tie down kits unless you have your own method for anchoring the marquee down. As with all DIY Marquees should the unforeseen happen any replacement part is available to purchase separately  and our experienced customer service staff are always available for any advice you may require.

Tie down kit

Strongly recommended for anchoring the marquees down on soft surfaces. Consists of 6 large metal stakes and 6 ratchet straps (available in white or orange)

Linings

Roof lining: transforms the interior by hiding the metalwork in the roof
Roof and curtain linings: curtain linings add a finishing touch to a roof lining by hiding the metal legs (note curtains are purely decorational, they are not large enough to cover the windows)
Roof, curtain and swag linings: Adds a gathered finish around the pelmet of the roof lining (also includes curtains)

Blackout Roof & wall linings

Create a unique atmosphere inside a marquee by darkening the area to nightclub levels. Tabs are sewn in to the roof lining for you to attach your own lighting to create a starlight effect. Ideal for parties.

Carpet flooring

Gives a fantastic finish in any marquee, nailed in place to give a smooth trip-free surface (suitable for high heels). Includes waterproof underlay and nails. Carpet is supplied on a 2m wide roll.

Lighting

Festoon lighting: A string of bulbs with dimmer control that fits above the roof lining. Chandelier lighting: Comes with two brass effect chandeliers, dimmer control, RCD plug and 25m lead. Everything you need to easily and elegantly light your marquee.

Bags & Boxes

Ideal for storing and transporting your marquee though we should point out that the marquee does arrive in sturdy cardboard boxes.

Any side or end panel can be removed easily to create entrances or you can leave complete sides off for informal occasions.

DIY Marquees is an independent family run company dedicated to designing, manufacturing and supplying quality marquees and accessories. Having built up and successfully run one of the leading marquee hire companies in the UK, we now use that experience in advising other hire companies and designing and supplying commercial quality marquees, linings and accessories.

DIY Marquees:
DIY Marquees was formed by Spencer King having spent over 10 years in the marquee hire industry (due to the sale of the hire company we are contractually not allowed to hire any of our marquees). It has been set up to provide marquee hire companies with high quality marquees and linings whilst also offering advice and industry contacts from experience.


C & D King Ltd:
C & D King Ltd has been manufacturing in the UK since 1979. Although increasingly difficult due to rising costs and increasing red tape we still manufacture as much as possible at our factory in Dorking. Originally set up by Colin & Diana King they have now been joined in the family business by their son Spencer who has added marquee experience to the engineering background of Colin.


We recently calculated the average length our employees have worked for us at over 18 years! That's longer than most others in the industry have been in business.
