Public School
Howard, South Dakota
This antique photo shows the public school that was built in Howard, South Dakota, in 1895. The photo dates to within a few years of that time. The name Miss Noonan is written in pencil beneath the photo in the lower-right corner. There's a second name that I'm not able to read.
The photo measures 8 1/8" x 6". It's mounted to a 8 7/8" x 7" card. There's a crease to the upper-left corner and some lines/marks in the photo's clear finish. The card has wear to the edges and corners and discoloration from age.
