FAQ:

  • Do I need to order two?

No, this product is sold in a set for both sides of the vehicle. One for the driver’s side and one for the passenger’s side.

  • How long before I can wash my car? 

You can wash your vehicle directly after applying. No wait time is required. We highly recommend hand washing vs. automatic car washes. Automatic car washes use harsher chemicals that can reduce the longevity of the product.

  • How warm does it have to be to install?  

We recommend an outside temperature of at least 60 degrees Fahrenheit for easy installation.

  • How long will this last?

Multiple factors can affect the life of vinyl outdoors. You can expect 4-5 years life expectancy, but they are rated to last up to 10 years. Factors that affect longevity include temperature changes, air quality, frequent car washes, and the conditions in which the vehicle is parked (inside/outside).

SHIPPING:

  • Most items are shipped with in 1 – 2 business days VIA USPS First class mail with a tracking number.
  • For International orders delivery times will range from 5 business days to 15 business days depending on location.  Items ship USPS First Class International mail with a tracking number.

INSTALLATION:

  • FOR WET AND DRY PREP: Clean the surfaces around the application area with car soap, then dry the area. Wipe down the application area with rubbing alcohol and a microfiber towel. Allow rubbing alcohol to dry. Start the product application after these steps are complete.
  • FOR WET AND DRY APPLICATION: Installation should be done in temperatures of at least 60 degrees Fahrenheit. You will need to apply using a heat gun on a low setting for any curved portion of the light.
  • FOR NON-AIR RELEASE:  Fill a spray bottle with water and one drop of dish soap. Spray down the light and back of the film (adhesive side). Align the film onto the light. Spray down the top of the film. Using one of our installation squeegees, squeegee the water out from the film. Allow dry times of two days before using any power washer on the vehicle.
  • FOR AIR RELEASE FILM: Align and apply dry. Using a squeegee or your fingertips, work the film downwards pushing the air out from behind the film. Once applied, use a heat gun to apply heat on a low setting and press down the film again. This helps the film set. If you missed any areas, you would see air bubbles. To remove bubbles, let the film cool to room temperature and work the bubbles out of the film.
