Up for sale is this vintage Mercury Comet badge. The badge is in very good to excellent condition. Measures 5 1/8 in. long by 2 1/4 in. high. Has four mounting posts. On the back it reads "C8GB-54291B62-R." Also reads "PP" underneath the O. Comet cars were manufactured by Mercury, a division of the Ford Motor Company. The Mercury  Comet was produced from 1960 to 1969 and then again from 1971 to 1977. Initially, it was marketed simply as "Comet" in 1960 and 1961, and then as "Mercury Comet" from 1962 onwards.
