- Camshaft Position Sensor work together with the crankshaft position sensor and the vehicleâs ECU to ensure that both ignition timing and fuel supply are correct for peak fuel economy, performance, and emissions.
- As the camshaft rotates, the magnet moves past the Hall-effect sensor, generating a voltage signal that is then sent to the engine control module, which uses it to determine the correct timing of the fuel injection and ignition systems.
