Two acceptable poor hardcovers with heavy edge wear and shelf scuffing. Corners bumped. Heavy sun staining on boards. Title page has separated from binding on vol 2. Title page is absent from vol 1. Pages are age toned with some smudging. A lengthy inscription followed by a signature that I can’t make out are on free end of vol 1 (could be someone important?). Lite markings on boards inner panels and end papers. Binding is thoroughly used. No editions or copyright year stated, circa 1862.
