Meticulously made by John Morgan, a professional upholsterer, for the 16 inch Tyler/Sydney style fashion doll, and it will work with any doll that size. Please see the photos to observe how perfectly it fits this size doll. Sybarites, Mods, Kingdom Dolls, Dollcis and other brand dolls will also enjoy this piece. The artist has even understaffed the cushions so the doll will appear to sit comfortably.

The construction and materials are on a professional level you seldom find in doll furniture with a solid wood bench-made frame,  upholstery grade batting and fabrics. The fabric appears to be a cotton/synthetic blend in a light oyster or off-white color and has a simple textured pattern. The style of this piece features a curved back, perfectly tilted, just so for comfort, and tight arms. The seat cushions are loose and feature welted seams, as does the entire sofa. There are perfect box pleats in the corners. No worry about your dolls tipping over on this sturdy piece.

Please note that your doll shelf should be at least 12 inches deep, or more, in order to give your dolls some leg room in front of it. The back is not entirely straight either, being wider on top so just the top of the sofa will sit against the wall leaving about a half inch space between the sofa base and the wall. 

If you do not want to use the for a Tonner 16 in. fashion body doll, please measure your doll seated, especially the length of the back of her shins to the floor, wearing shoes, and the distance from the inside of the knee to the widest part of her rump.
