Quinta studio's QC48004-S Yak-1B (late production) vacuformed clear canopy, 1 pcs, (for Modelsvit kit) - is made using vacuum-forming technology. The set is intended to replace clear plastic parts in Modelsvit Yak-1B kits.
It has following advantages over kit parts:
- Has excellent transparency.
- Produces less optical distortion due to its small and uniform thickness (approx. 0,4 mm)
- Allows for treatment using abrasives and polishing tools
- Equally inert to enamel and acrylic varnishes, paints and masking adhesives
- Replacement vacu-form parts fit perfectly on a model
