Written originally about a Polish-American
family, Yordan was unable to find a producer
so he offered it to the American Negro Theatre.
It became the first Broadway play to feature
an all-Black cast in a drama unrelated to race.
Cast includes: Alice Childress, Alvin Childress,
Warren Coleman, and Monte Hawley, 
among others. Includes the usual bios and
ads, including Sinatra for Old Gold cigarettes
and Signe Hasso on the back cover for Chesterfields. 


Condition:  VG- condition. Some marginal foxing
and soiling to covers. Light creasing to spine. See photos.
