EVH [USED] Striped Series 5150 (Red with Black and White Stripes/Maple)

When Eddie Van Halen debuted his famous red, white and black striped 5150(R) guitar in 1984, he never imagined it would spawn thousands of copies. But Eddie was also imitated in every way imaginable, which is one of the reasons why he quickly became famous all over the world. EVH(R) has added a new Striped Series 5150 model based on his original guitar to its lineup.

The Striped Series 5150 has the same basswood body as the original, a bolt-on quarter-sawn maple neck, a comfortable C profile, a hockey stick-shaped headstock with a hand-finished urethane back. The compound radius (12"-16") maple fingerboard features 22 jumbo frets, black dot inlays and a convenient heel-mounted truss rod adjustment wheel.

This model is equipped with a custom-designed EVH(R) Wolfgang(R) alnico(R) 2 humbucker, which provides a sweet sustain and a firm rhythm sound with an exquisite balance of power and clarity in a perfectly balanced EQ curve. The custom-designed EVH branded low friction volume knob provides unparalleled performance and uniform volume tapering for smooth volume adjustment.

The EVH branded Floyd Rose(R) bridge maintains accurate tuning even with intense arm playing, and each locking nut tailpiece is equipped with fine tuners and patented EVH D-Tuna(R), allowing you to instantly switch between drop D and standard tuning.

With the iconic red 5150 hologram number and star decal, the Striped Series 5150 is a high-powered, high-performance machine.

This product is a used product, so there are slight scratches and signs of use, but there is no noticeable damage and the condition, including the electrical parts, is good.

There is plenty of room on both sides of the truss rod, and about 80-90% of the frets remain. There is no noticeable twisting, so I think this is a guitar that you can use right away.
