This adorable, hand painted Limoges, France porcelain trinket box features a black and white cat with striped, curled tail, sitting next to a teacup . When opened there is a spool of thread or yarn painted inside. The cat sits on a sweet yellow and pink hinged box with ribbon shape metal closure.It is approx 2.25" x 1.5" and 2.25" tall. It is in excellent condition and by the artist Gerard Ribierre , as indicated by the "Paint Main Limoges GR" on the bottom - along with the words Jewels of Cozumel.
