Here we have a bit of a mystery. We have come
across these lovely speakers but unfortunately with little information. The
front says Stage but no other information is on the speakers themselves. To
help, we are fortunate enough to have the original box which has them down as Stage
speakers, model Caspian and on the bottom of the box it says these were made in
Canada. Now I have searched and searched the web and cannot fine them anywhere.
The build quality is superb as is the sound, bass and treble are piggybacked or
can be run separately and they weigh 6.9kg each so they were not messing around
building these. The fronts have a unique slanted design, are finished in piano black
and the rest of the cabinet is possibly black ash? The speakers measure 19.7cm
in width, 35.3cm in height and the depth at the bottom (widest) 6.9cm with the
covers fitted. At that size they may be considered bookshelf (if your shelves
are strong enough) or can be used nicely on stands.
If you have any further information about these, we
would love to hear it and may be able to get a better description as we have no
idea on wattage or ohms.
As to pricing we have had to look at bespoke
speakers and prices are very varied, we have set these at where we believe they
would fit being so rare but will always listen to sensible offers.
