A Roman Trireme was a type of ancient Roman warship that played a crucial role in the naval forces of the Roman Empire 2000 years ago. The term "Trireme" refers to the ship's design and means "three-rower" in Greek, signifying the arrangement of rowers on each deck.

Handmade in their Bristol (England) factory by highly skilled glassmakers using basic tools and traditional techniques dating back 100s of years to shape and craft each coaster. As a result, every piece is unique, and one of a kind. Each coaster is signed by the glassmaker and limited edition number. The coasters are rare new vintage collectables (unused), crafted in the late 1990s, sold separately as one coaster, multiple purchase welcome.

Perfect to use as a glass coaster, paperweight, light diffuser or ornament placement. Looks gorgeous placed upon an office desk, living room table or window ledge to catch the daylight. Arrives in a velvet drawstring pouch.
