This is a cut crystal heart shaped trinket box with a cut and frosted bird on a branch on the lid. The box is 5" x 4 1/2" x 2 3/4." There is a gold foil label on the base that reads The European Collection Action Industries Inc Cheswick PA Made in W Germany. I think Hofbauer produced the European Collection for Action Industries. The box is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks.
