Allows for the use of widely available standard 1 1/4" (32mm) and 1 3/8" (35mm) vacuum attachments, accessories, and hoses common to major brands such as Shop-Vac, Craftsman, Milwaukee, RIGID, Bissell, etc.  A wide variety of standard attachments are available cheaply or already in your garage!
